Personality
   Despite appearances, Kuan-tai is a first class coward. He often refers to what he reads in his books, to the point of imitating some extracts to bypass this problem. He also uses this method to decide what he can or must do in battle.
   However, he is very friendly towards others and will not hesitate to talk, even to strangers. He also tends to act before thinking.

Strengths
   If his strength is not outstanding, he knows several martial arts techniques of all kinds that he will not hesitate to use in self-defense.
   Although his sword skills are far from perfect, he is able to use his weapon with precision, especially effective for thrusting blows. Note: He always pays attention to let the blade in its sheath. Therefore, his sword is more like a blunt weapon.
   Kuan-tai has very good reflexes and is easily able to dodge many blows, especially melee. Surprise attacks against him may prove difficult.
   He is fast and agile, not letting him be stopped by many obstacles (he masters jumps against the wall, for example).
   His armor effectively stops or reduces the blows he receives. However, that does not prevent him from being unbalanced or projecting depending on the power of it.

Weaknesses
   Kuan-tai does not control very well stressful situations. He tends to panic quickly, usually causing totally thoughtless actions (jump into the lion's den, for example).
   His tail generally helps him to keep balance. Grabbed, it also provides an efficient way to greatly limiting his offensive and his defensive capabilities. His way of fighting asks him to move a lot, so he can not move freely without pulling on his tail (which is particularly painful), and could not keep his balance for most of his techniques, resulting to fall at each of them.
   His sword can become his worst enemy. He has an approximate control of it and can easily be disarmed. Therefore, nothing prevents an opponent from using it. Note: Only the tip of the sword is sharp and can be dangerous. The other part is partially blunt. It may inflict cuts, but nothing exceptionally serious.
   He does not have much endurance. His fighting style being based on his speed and agility, he tires quickly and he shows great difficulties on the longest fights. He will tire faster when he wears his armor for compensate the weight of it and keep a reasonable speed.
   His armor is not really light. It is often the cause of loss of balance during dodges or fast movement.

History
   Kuan-tai previously lived with his parents outside of town. Following an agreement between them, he temporarily moved to town with an old friend of the family. He now helps care for the library.

   Kuan-tai has learned to use his sword and his martial arts techniques in self-taught, copying his favorite hero.
   He will use it only in last resort. Know how to use it, it is one thing, using it against someone, that's another.
   He is a true fan of the "Adventures of Samurai Zi". He knows a lot of catchwords, phrases and sayings used by the Samurai and mastered the art of imitation of him to perfection.
   His armor and sword were offered to him several years ago as bedrooms decorations. Since he can wear it, he regularly trains to imitating his hero.
   If he wears his armor in battle, outside of it, the choice of the "with or without armor" is open. Typically, he wears it when he trains or in competition. He takes it off during free times (between rounds, for example), but he will never be far away from it.
   He would take on average between 5 and 10 minutes to put his armor. Take it off is faster, most of the clips are ties, so he just have to untie them. They are just numerous.
   He never lets his sword unattended. That he wears his armor or not, he will take with him under any circumstances.
